it is the last day of my first semester. i'm happy with my progress, if not totally happy with the way the program works. i have some real ideas about dissertation topics, and i think i have an idea how to proceed, but i will need more counsel in that regard.i was explaining my dissertation idea to someone, and it sounded pretty good. i felt like i had an idea of what was required and the way there. it was a good feeling.

now, a couple weeks of rest, if you can call it that. i have to prepare for the new semesters at hollywood and pepperdine.
